Ipod Touch Installer hanging, can't press ok button!

I ran update for 4 programs on my ipod touch but a message came up saying " Do not use passwd to change the password on 1.1.3 it is currently broken and will make SpringBoard crash continously" The problem is, it won't let me press the ok button to accept the message. Any suggestions??

Reboot (hold power button til it asks to switch off altogether) or Hard Reset (hold power button and home button til it reboots itself)

Thanks amull87, i ran the battery down and that solved it. Your suggestion would have been quicker alright!!
