You cant sell/buy these things on ebay, so its not an option for ya

www.supercardnds.com have R4's in stock at the moment but a good bit more expensive than Gameyeeeah. (worked out at about 42 euro as opposed to 30 euro with Gameyeeeah) I ordered it yesterday morning and got a shipping notice later that day.

I ordered itfor a friend so went for the R4 seeing as I've the task of setting it up and I was a bit wary about the M3 Real having read a few not so good reviews ...but might chance one for myself if gameyeeeah dont get the R4 back again.

hey, did you get your R4 from supercardnds.com in the end with no problems? Had a look and might get one myself from there

Yep, it arrived last Monday, all good :)

In fact I ordered an M3 for myself from Gameyeeeah on Wednesday just gone and still hasnt budged to shipping yet despite being in stock (apparently) when ordered, so better service from supercardnds.com so it seems.

Just a quick heads-up. Bought a CycloDS from Electrobee.com. Cost me just under €40 inc postage. Ordered on 13th arrived this morning. Excellent service

Is that with memory or the card alone?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,147 ✭✭✭mise

    Its just the card.

1 gig micro-sd cards are cheap as chips now, bought 4 off inkraider a couple of weeks ago for 6€ each i think

Ah nice one! :) How long did it take for delivery from electrobee?

Took 5 days, ordered on the morning of March 13th, arrived in post this morning. Think theyre a Canadian company, so shouldnt take as long as the Hong Kong alternatives

5 days? I ordered mine from Electrobee on Wednesday the 19th and it still haven't come. Then again I would imagine its been delayed by Easter.

When I ordered I wasnt sure if it had gone through properly so I emailed them, and got a response the next day to confirm they had received it.
Id email them just to make sure everything was ok on their end

And if anyone has a CycloDS, theres a new update(v1.3) out that fixes some compatibilty issues..

Well I got a fairly unequivocal email on the 19th saying it had shipped but if there is still no sign tomorrow I will definitely get in contact.

I've had a cycloDS for about 8months now and its excellent. The gui is clean and sensible and each firmware revision genuinely improves on things.

For instance the last one improved on mp3 playback via Moonshell. Not that I use it much for that but still...

I also think it's more up to date, architecture wise, than either the R4 or M3?

what im trying to say is that people do not buy these things to run average home brew applications. They get them for the games and homebrew is a bonus, i just find it hard to believe people would purchase these solely to run average applications.

Are you even aware of the possibilities you can open up from a homebrew enabled device? I bought my M3 card purely to be able to connect my DS to my laptop and then use it as a controller for an interactive audio piece in a college assignment. Not everybody takes the backseat approach to homebrew (ie roms and emulators)that you seem to only know about, so to just assume that is all anybody would want from the R4/M3 card is stupid.

To whoever is looking for one, I bought mine from

    http://eu.mod-chip.com/index-cart.php?go=/select_nintendo.htm

I am aware that the price is a bit more expensive than from the Hong Kong and Canadian based sites but I am a little less trustworthy with my credit card and only buy from sites I can verify are good. I ordered it Sunday, shipped Monday and arrived this morning(Thursday)
