Hi, does anyone know if phones with DVB-H such as the N96 can receive RTE transmissions?

I had the Nokia N92 last year, and yes, I could reciever RTE. And about 15 other channels, including Sky Sports 1. EPG's were also available.

However, this was from a DVB-H transmitter that 02 had set up on a trial basis. I was told that the service wuld stop sometime last year, but as far as I know(phone is broken, anyone know where I coulr get it repaired? MPRC wont do it) the service is still running.

I can receive the digital channels on my DVB-H equipped laptop but I noticed some debate on the encoding standards used where people say that Freview equipped TV's won't support the Irish digital platform.

The phone must be in the vicinity of a DVBH transmitter. It ill not pick up "normal" RTE transmissions.
