you mean as in a high gloss finish? if so yep, it would scratch over time though if ya used something like a fobus holster., although even the stardard finish will scratch from that.,

jeez sam sounds like you gonna declare war on the hicapas or something.,lol have you ever actually used one of them babys? the paint finish is very nice on them and they feel faarrr better in hand than an M1911, theres a lovely weighty and metal feel off them and the blow back is really nice. they feel better all round that an M1911, So much so that when DrPepper borrowed mine for a week i almost had to nibble off his fingers to get it back out of his hand.:D.,
id say if ya used one you'd completely change your mind.,:p
