Would expect Full HD for that to be a bargain....

Three year warranty is tempting though try getting that from a store it'll cost you 200-300 extra

I saw a 42" Philips LCD TV in my Dunnes Stores last night (Charlestown Shopping Centre) for €899 EUR... I would consider that a better bargain.

Hi Steffano, that tv in Dunnes has a native res of 1366 x 768, making it HD Ready.

The Hitachi has so-called Full HD of 1920 x 1080. It also supports 24p playback, which, when used with 24p HDDVD/BluRay tech, gives you movie playback exactly the same frame rate as it was recorded.

Add to that it has PC input and you're looking at a far better deal.

Not to shoot you down or anything...;)

I got the 40" Aldi Lcd some time back,I find watching sports, there's a blur as the ball moves across the screen, probably refresh rate is'nt fast enough, notice Aldi have'nt given refresh rate for this screen either!
