car breakers in Laois/Kilkenny??

    I'm looking for a rear left shock for my '93 corolla for the NCT next week. I've tried any breakers yard I could find/think of in Kilkenny and Laois, but maybe I've missed one? Can anyone advise?

    I've tried:

    McBrides, Hugginstown Co. Kilkenny
    Mulhalls, Tullaroan Co. Kilkenny
    Ryans, Clara Co. Kilkenny

    Munellys, Arles Co. Carlow

    Daltons, Abbeyleix Co. Laois
    Whelans, The Heath Co. Laois
    Byrnes, Stradbally Co. Laois

    can anyone think of any more? Can travel to Offaly, Kildare, Carlow, Tipperary within reason. Getting desperate now!! And before you say it, a new one would cost more than the car is worth!! ;)

    For future reference and if someone finds this thread in a future search, Traynor's Motorstore near Dungannon break and carry parts for a huge range of vehicles, and they certainly used to do weekly delivery runs around the whole of Ireland, including Portlaoise.
