Thanks - for the apology OP but as other people have said things like this happen in every country and it is no reflection on its people unless its cannabalism in a country like lets say Tazmania. Italy is a great country so be proud!

Now that we've cleared that up...

One apology from Rome that I am demanding is that the old man in the Vatican apologises for my Mam giving me a ****ing salad for dinner tomorrow

On a more serious note, I was ashamed to be Irish when I read about those Dublin scumbags who broke that English guys' finger off.
    Sick fcuks.

That story seems to be in doubt now, but remember that Italian student who is now paralysed from the neck down after getting jumped in Fairview? A pretty similar story.

DeboraAttanasio very noble of you to apologise. No one things any different of italy or italian people as a result of the tragedy.

Unfortunately there are idiots in every country.

I feel really bad when tourists are killed in Ireland so I understand why you posted that. It's a very nice thing to do.

More details on the case here:

It's a bit mad in Italy that people can opt out of a drugs test when they've just killed someone.

The reason he was let out so quickly seemed to be to do with his dad being a retired policeman, good to see he's been shamed into turning himself back to jail.
