Lacie Silverscreen or Premier, any good ?

    Has anyone got a Lacie Silverscreen or Premier ? I was wondering if they found it worthwhile ? Any problems or flaws with it ? I was thinking of getting the 500gig to play media on the tv. both products are very similar which seems a bit strange from the same company.

    The premier is plays HD content , the silverscreen does not , thats the main difference there.

    These media hard drives are OK if your on a budget , not so great otherwise , the electronics are generally crammed in and of poor quality.

    The silverscreen however , is a reasonable enough price so not bad for what it delivers , an easy no fuss way to play back downloaded content.

    The premier on the other hand , is not good value at all , for that money you could get a nice HTPC , or a PS3 , both of which would do all the things the premier can do and more. The premier therefore , is a complete waste of money , you can do so much better for the cash.
