I live in the middle of Dublin City Centre and I can hear all the crazy drunks outside. I don't envy their hangovers tomorrow :)

I'm at home working on a rather tricky college assignment.

    What's your excuse?

    Me too, Masters at night.

Isn't it amazing how much you can fit into your day? Work/college/gym/girlfriend/etc.

    Awwww...

I'm almost tempted to text him to remind him.

Yes, I know I don't have a clue who he is or what his number is

Went out Friday night. Had a match this morning so took it easy last night and having a few quiet drinks at home tonight. Couldn't be bothered wasting my bank holiday Monday curled up on the couch with a bad hangover!

He's aware of the forum, he just prefers to spend his time in lolocaust.

I love the way the internet/boards puts people from two totally different situations (me: inner city; you: countryside) in contact with each other.

Town is mad. Screams and shouts everywhere.

Thats no good, there's no "what wimmins wants" threads there.

I'm still nursing a hangover from yesterday... Over did it on the booze and jars of marshmallows...

I was drinking last night and working tomorrow. Don't want to be hungover and dodging the drunk knacks lurking around the city centre tomorrow.

My OH is away at the moment and my friends are also all away, the only one who isn't has to work tomorrow so we met up this afternoon instead. I'm emigrating soon so am stoney broke because of saving for that.

I'm super bored, there's only so much time you can spend on boards. watching family guy and eating crisps. :(

Broke up with fiancee two weeks ago after 4 years together. Had to leave the house and move back in with the parents. They're gone on holidays. I'm pretty broke, minding the house with my brother, watching telly. Fun.

Sounds familiar. I've just moved back with my parents before I move away. They are away and I'm also minding the house with my bro. It is also lots of "fun"!

The only thing that's not the same is the fiancee part, my OH is just away for 6 weeks. Sorry to hear about that. Hope you're ok. Moving home sucks, for whatever reason so it must be doubly hard for you.

    Sorry to hear that.

I know you don't need to hear this, but you'll be happy as Larry in six months.

I dunno... that Larry is an extreeeeeeeeemely happy guy...

    (I'm fine... really.)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,976 ✭✭✭✭humanji

Trust me, Harry isn't that happy and it's an easy goal. You'll just feel really bad when you're happier than Larry and he'll sink further into his depression.

I went to a mates house for a couple of drinks and now I'm home. I don't really celebrate Paddy's weekend because I see it as a weekend where every scumbag in Ireland gets free reign to cause havoc and it's not worth the bother of further demoting my already bleak view of Irish society.

I had my Paddy's night out on Friday as Saturday was a no no with a game on Sunday. Currently today (Monday) I'm an hour into work.
