Alternative R4 product from Codejunkies?

While ordering my Freeloader, I was mooching around the Codejunkies site and came across this. Would this work as an alternative to an R4 by putting the R4 software onto the MicroSD and using this product?? It seems to have a cartridge that fits into a NDS. I have an R4 anyway but it might be an option for some people?

Game n' Music gets a pretty hard time for being the rubbish version you get in stores in America.

From what I've read though, it works more or less the same.
