Toshiba Sat Pro - worth it?

Looking into getting a new laptop. Have seen this on dabs: http://www.dabs.ie/ProductView.aspx?Quicklinx=5038 Priced at €807, (can get a further €75 cashback from Toshiba also)(I can upgrade the RAM with todays Ibood offer to 4 GB for €50 ) Worth it or could I do better? You could do better with a Dell vostro or the likes, that laptop has a HD Dvd Rom drive which is now redundent really and probably takes up a bit of the price their asking for it.
