image resizing

ive noticed when posting an image through the insert image option,that even when i resize it (dragging the corners :)) that when i go to post or preview post it automatically goes back to original size. there a way around this or must i download the image,resize it on my desktop and then re upload it. thankies, Nerin

I think if you upload it to imageshack they will give you code that will post up a thumbnail and when that thumbnail is clicked it will take you to the full image.

Or you can resize on some hosts when you upload it.
