    Three easy home wins tonight.

Derby to draw is a decent bet.

Grant to be sacked tonight is another.

    Any of these on tv?

Villa really need to win this one or risk becoming detached from Everton and Liverpool. I think they will though.

Chelsea will be so fired up for this one could be a rout if they open the scoring early doors. Villa and a draw for Pompey/Brum.

    Mike.

I'm telling you go for a Birmingham win!

For at least the last 10 seasons every time Utd suffer a domestic defeat(excluding Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool) I always back against that team in their next game - the most recent being City who went on to lose at home to Everton - it's amazing how often it happens.

I have won loads of money doing this.

He shouldnt even be playing if he'd taken his ban like a man.

Why should someone take an unfair ban like a man? If you were given a ridiculously harsh sentence for a crime you wouldn't appeal then? You'd take it like a man yeah?

    If I'd committed a foul/crime, then yes.

You'd take a punishment that was way too harsh? Why?

Notice how nobody has said anything about Anelka and his struggle to get goals.

Lampard now has 17 goals this season, I thought it was common understanding he was brutal this year

Had very few in the league until now tbh. All Chelsea need is 1 or 2 of Lampard, Drogba, Anelka, Cole or whoever else to start playing to their ability and Chelsea will have a very good chance of winning the league.

I personally feel that the league is gonna finish as follows:

    Chelsea - 86pts
    Manu - 85pts
    Arsenal - 82pts
    Liverpool - 80pts

Spent about 30 seconds predicting the points but I think the placings will be right. Then again, I could be completely wrong :D

There was a topic about a month ago on here with people predicting the rest of the fixtures, Arsenal had a 5 point advantage at the time and people had them winning the league by a huge margin.

People look at the 'grand slam' games coming up, I think it could be the games that teams don't expect to drop point from that will decide it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

The grand slam games as you call them, are gona play a huge role. Personally I think thats where Chelsea are gona fall down, because Grant seems to be terrible in the big games, doesn't have that extra tactical ability.

United are 2 points behind with a game in hand, they will make up that game with Bolton next midweek, and have Derby at the weekend. Can't see us slipping up in those two, which means United will have the lead going into those games.

p.s. The idea of Arsenal getting 14 points from a possible 27 is just silly. It would be their worst run of form so far this season by some distance.
The idea of Liverpool picking up 24 from 27 is equally nuts, considering that they are playing the other big 3 :)

:o Typical....and I really thought they would do it after drawing level from 2 goals down!

Worked for every other time this season - City(x2), Bolton, West Ham, Coventry.
