For a World's Fair back in the day, can't remember when. Was only meant to last a few years. Good ole over-engineering!

    1887 - 1889/1890

Was it built as to commemorate La Revolution?

I think Smashey has 99% of it.

1889 to commemorate the Centenary of the Revolution and the Exposition Universelle - World's Fair

Hmmm, question. Damn. What was the approximate qualifying power output of the last 1.9l turbo Honda F1 car in the good ole days. Never mind the weak excuse for racing cars of the last 20 years.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,172 ✭✭✭Don1

not even so much as a guess? It's a lot for such a small engine.........

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,676 ✭✭✭✭smashey

    Meh.

I'm an F1 fan but not a petrolhead. (A bit of a contradiction in terms). :D

I refuse to google the answer.

    Fair enough. Up to 1200bhp.
Basically ten times the power of your average large family car in something that weighs less than an original mini. No traction control or any sissy stuff. Just low wide running on super fat sticky tyres. Racing drivers were men until these cars were banned. Fruit smoothie drinking ponces now.
Back in the day they'd be drunk and all!
