Sweet Jesus Newcastle are woeful! All they can hope for now is for Torres and Gerrard to be taken off and rested for europe.

Cracking effort from Martins there, would have been an absolute peach of a goal.

Since when has Mark Hughes become such an attacking manager? Took Tugay off after 55 minutes and went something like:

    Reid
    Pederson
    Bentley
    --Roberts--Santa Cruz--Derbyshire--

The only reason Tugay was playing was because of injuries, it's usually Reid and the attacking Dunn in central midfield with 4 attackers.

Another shocking display from City. Were enjoying 80% of possession then fall asleep at the back and allow Reading to score. Going to be three games in a row without scoring. Woeful

    Another freekick from Bullard. 1-1.

Agreed. Pat would be very upset.

Wheels falling off at City relatively speaking. I guess fans knew mid table was more likely than europe. Plenty of summer spends to come no doubt.

    Mike.

Indeed. Missing Richards and Onuoha from the start and losing Dunne early on doesn't help matters but the fact is we've been sh*te since the new year (well bar the derby of course). Now Didi to be suspended for two games as well.

Terrible news about Dunne, hope he's ok.

Great to see Reading win, they deserve to be in the league. Play good honest attacking football, we need more small teams like them.
Seriously, Newcastle are a shocking team, going down hopefully. Wins for Sunderland, Wigan and Brum tomorrow would be great.
Brum, Fulham and Reading coming up for Newcastle in the next 4 games, they need to get results out of them. There's no reason with the squad they have they shouldn't be able to win 2 of those, if they did, they'd probably be safe.

I think Newkie need to go down, clear the decks and start fresh.

    Mike.

Dunne only cut his leg apparently. 9 stitches.

Bright start by Arsenal, Adebayor missed a golden opportunity to make it 1-0.

Spurs dominated West Ham here, lovely stuff.

Spurs really have a great first 11, they really play some nice stuff. Still think they are up their with the top 4, if they could just get a run going properly.

Hutton just made an absolutely lovely cross onto Bent's head, Spurs 4-0. Always fun to watch :)

1621: "If anything, West Ham are doing slightly better without Luis Boa Morte but Tottenham are still creating plenty of chances. The Hammers fans are singing '4-0. We're going to lose 4-0'."

    spooky ;)

I tell ya, Arsenal are playing on a rugby pitch in every sense of the word. Surely there must be regulations in place for this sort of thing

Michael Brown stands on Flamini's stomach... it was accidental, honest.
