You know the times when you see a movie clip and it makes you seeth with jealousy?

What's yours?

Mine is that bit at the beginning of the first Pirates of the Caribbean where Sparrow is riding that sinking ship into Port Royal.

Everything I love represented in that scene: adventure, travel, never staying in one place too long, diversity and negative liberty.

Brings a tear to my eye does that scene.

Actually, I frequently find that scenes from my own life and my friends/colleagues are like damn movie moments with their sheer ridiculousness and hilarity.

Also, what the hell, people on this thread with close to 1000 posts since joining in 2008.

One of my 'damn movie moments' is a classic.....girl drops papers and while girlishly gathering them, John Cusack/Jake Gyllenhaal/insert your own (name) comes along to give her a hand.
In real life, when you drop papers, people give loud, exasperated tuts and walk around you.
And in real life, I don't girlishly gather papers...I'm usually cursing like a docker.

Yep pretty much any cool martial arts stuff. I remember watching the Bruce Lee films when I was a kid, then everybody going out kicking the tar out of each other.
