about time there was a booking.....3 fouls on ronaldo and one not given inside the box inside 10 mins. great start for united. people give out about ronaldo diving, but he gets more fouls than everybody else in the premiership and just gets on with it.

portsmouth have parked up the team bus in front of their goal. playing 10 men behind the ball. uniteds best chances have come on the break from pompy set pieces which is all they are counting on.

it was pure luck. james saved it and it only hit of carrick. he never actually made proper contact once he fell over.
