Off road Cycle Trails in Kildare??

I am trying to lose weight and increase my fitness. I have started cycling into work, 25 mile round trip and I love it. However on my days off I find cycling on roads boring and a little tedious. Where can I cycle on an offroad trail around Kildare? Somewhere like Donadea Forest would be perfect if cycling was permitted…

I am based in Clane but have a bike rack on the car so location is not a problem. thanks
