    Hi there.

Looking to get rid of a car soon as it is lying idle cos have a company car now. Came across this website www.cashforcars.ie and I was just wondering if anyone has ever dealt with them before? Car is a 02 Vectra, new model. Would like to get it shifted out of the garden fairly fast so been thinking against private sale.

Would like to hear of opinions anyway.

    Cheers

I wouldn't be expecting much of a price from them, why not try and sell it though an auction such as merlin, or even easier put it on ebay with a small or no reserve?

To be honest, not expecting to make much money off it just want to shift it at this stage. Main problem is tax and insurance is now out so cant take it on the road. Maybe private sale would be best cos of this?

Well if you take some pictures of it and stick on ebay with no reserve you won't need to move it. Plus as long as your honest about the condition the onus will really be on the buyer to come and take it away regardless of condition (no guarantees of course.. but thats the way its supposed to work)

Will have a think about that. Nothing wrong with the car apart from the stereo needing a look at and it will need to be jumped to start as the battery is currently disconnected.

    Thanks for the ideas guys.
