Under Armour/Base Layer etc.. Recommended?

Hi,
I see an increasing number of people with baselayer tops under their jerseys playing gaa.

I was wondering if they are any good, or should I just keep going as I have for the past 15 years.

I'd be cold starting off training these nights but sure warm up pretty quick.

Playnig a match on a hot day, sure everyone would be hot.

Do people have a hot and a cold one of these? Are they any good or just a fad?

i have a cold one and it is great esp. for training. i wear the base layer and a light jersey and i am always warm so there is no need to wear a jacket/training top of any kind while training

THey are the pull sweat away from the body variety; Have had a good winter with them, will be interesting to see how they go through the summer
