Now I'm thinking. That isn't the answer I have but is it possible that my answer could be wrong?

It was a bit of an educated guess tbh. I think it's around that time seeing as the war ended then. BUT, Thailand has never been colonised by any other country, so I could be wrong.

I still think it's sometime during the period when maps were being re-drawn in Asia and Africa, so between 1939 and 1949.

I'd go for later in the period...

What is 'St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave', known as in the native language of the country it is situated in, and why is it significant?

It is Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. It is significant because it is the longest place name in Britain. NB: It is not the longest place name in the world.
