backpacking - Indonesia or Phillipines?

    Hi there,

    I'm trying to decide whether to visit Indonesia or Phillipines on my rtw trip (asia leg). Does anyone have any comments on either places? In phillipines, I'm just thinking Malina.

    Go with the Phillipines. Beautiful beaches and volcanoes, hill tribes and junlgles, great culture and plus you don't get all the tourists you get in Thailand. Also English is widely spoken the nightlife is good craic. Also the women are gorgeous.

    I've never been to Indonesia so can't comment

    argh why did you say that! I had made my mind up not to go but now that you say that I may just change my mind again :-)

    So wher would be the best place to go? Manila?
