I bought a new poster. i think it's A0. I bought non-brand blue tack in a convenience store and it only stayed up for about a week and a half.

Will a good brand be better or do you think I might need something else?

get the real blu-tac and don't spare it use it about the size of a five cent coin and put it on at about every foot all the way around, that way you wont have strain in any one area, it should do the trick....I have one up in my studio about six months so far and its grand...
