PHP PROBLEM: Can't see phpinfo() page

hey

i'm having problems installing php and apache.

when i run the test.php, all i see is the code in the browser window instead of the info page.

test.php contains

<?php
phpinfo();
?>

I'm using apache_2.2.8
php 5.2.5

i have apache installed in C:\Apache
and php in C:\PHP

i have whats in the php.ini and httpd.conf in the .txt files attached.

i also copied the .dll files from the php folder to WINDOWS and system32 folder.

PLEASE HELP!

what address are you going to? file://c:/... or http://localhost/...

Using http://localhost/test.php to get to file

IIRC its missing an addhandler
add

ScriptAlias /php3 "c:/php3"
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php3 .php
Action application/x-httpd-php3 /php3/php.exe

to your httpd file - maybe someone else here can confirm

thanks man. this was a breeze than what i was trying to do and everything seems to work now.

No worries, I had to go through the same rigmarole you did once upon a time, eventually got it but it was tedious to say the least! Glad to help.
