I live in Kerry and was wondering if there's any guy in Kerry that recovers data...
    Thanks

I'd suggest you pop open the case and see if anything has come loose (note that this will void any remaining warranty you have). Most hard drives can take a fall to the floor without dying.

There is a small computer store in Killarney out near the outlet centre past Mcdonalds near the small roundabout(dunno the name of it). That guy knows alot about computers and id say he is your best bet for kerry. Dont go to the computer store in Killarney town centre.

if you know what your doing, get a hdd of the same model, take out the actual HD disk (dont get dirt on dat yolk!), and pop it into the new hdd case..

you'll also need a set of really small alen keys

sounds way easier than it is....it worked ONCE for me, but i tried it around 3 times

if all else fails, put it into a plastic bag, seal it, then put it into the freezer overnight, then quickly remove it and hook it up and get your data
    - this actually does work - http://geeksaresexy.blogspot.com/2006/01/freeze-your-hard-drive-to-recover-data.html
