I've wanted to make my own Tshirts for a while now, does anyone know how I'd go about making good quality prints without the expense of one of those printing shops?

yea, but they are all cheap, and its like you have a sheetof thin plastic stuck to your t shirt. They look even worse once the image starts to peel off

I don't know if they sell it here though, but you could get screen-printing ink and screen-print them yourself. Just google "how to screen print".
That works best if you're going to have one colour. Maybe two

Depends on what you consider too expensive. I think I paid about 15E each to Camden Clothing to print photographs on a tee shirt for me, including the cost of a teeshirt.

The response to them was highly positive at the time.

I can offer 1 or 2 coloured flex printing on dark shirts. Your image should be a vector graphic to do this. Let me see your image and I can tell you if it is possible to print. Price is 14 € incl. t-shirt. Delivery by post could be arranged.

i've done alot of research into this recently!
In ireland, there isnt really that many places to do it. Camdem Clothing are more suited to "Sally's Last Free Night" rather than actual designs from what I can see

For t shirt designs, you need to screen print it everything else just looks cheap

I think the best thing for you would be to try to the cheapest company in england, and get it done on american apparel if you can!

There's a really good site on starting up designing t shirts
