Very tough month. We will see Pique, OShea and Nani more this month. It would be nice to win a few game by halftime so Viper, Huggy Bear Ferdinand and Chocolate Love Evra can have a rest. Evra on the basis on the weekneds displays looks like he needs it more than the others but i am concerned for Ronaldo and Ferdinand aswell.

ok those nicknames are slightly scary, but (apart from them) i agree, we need to kill of games early and that will let us rest viper (i like that nickname) and others! with scholes coming back im not as nervous, with the amount of games we have coming up, he'll at least get a run out and hopefully get match fit sooner rather than later!

Super passing movement from Utd to give us the lead. Great energy fro Park in the first 10 mins and it was his tackle in midfield which began the move. Pefect touch from Nani to put Ronnie through and he slotted it home.

He's just banged in another now from a free-kick.

This could be a rout. Portsmouth haven't had a kick.

Have to say, i have been almost a big a critic of Ronnie's frees over the years, but at the moment he is becoming as dangerous from a set piece as Beckham was (the reality of Becks, not the myth that some people seem to live by)

Also, I wouldn't swap him for ANY player in the world right now - not even the fabled Messi or Kaka.

    'Ave it.

What the hell are the united fans singing now? Robbing our best midfield in the world chant

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,391 ✭✭✭d22ontour

Can't hear the crowd much as i would rather listen to the blokes on fanzone screaming than Andy Gray droning regardless of which teams are playing.

    :)

Dont say things like that, the pool can have that song.

One of the most comfortable 1st halfs at OT this season.

Yep, was sang on the terraces at Old Trafford following the Munich disaster in remembrance of the people that were lost. It was mid-60's when it became a popular song at Liverpool as far as i know.

Just googled it, some crazy old bird saying she sang it. No other record of it being sung at OT

I'll also take the word of fans who were regulars at Old Trafford at the time, well respected United fans, who confirm it. Saw it on the tv years back but never mentioned it cause I had no proof. A poster from another forum i am on mentioned it a couple of weeks back, and he had some proof from what i remember, but I can't find the thread.

I don't think it was an anthem at OT like it is at Liverpool, but i am certain myself that it was sang at Old Trafford before it became the liverpool song in the 60's.

Oh Redknapp shut the fúck up. Best free kick ever in the premiership??? Bollocks.

Oh and apparently Roberto Carlos scored his FK against France only 6 years ago.

    Does he know anything?

Jamie knows best :) Even if Ronaldo stole his missus, he'd still sing the Vipers praises.
