hi i am trying to run a small wireless network and keep runing into problems
I am using windows server 2003, 2 wireless laptops and a eircom netopia box my question is when the dhcp is turned off on the netopia box can it act as a wireless access point and the hosts get their ip address from the server it self when dhcp is configured on it. any input would be appreciated

Assign them a static address in the 192.168.x.x or 10.0.x.x range so they won't have to renew from dchp, I think :o

Either disable the DHCP role on the server or turn it off on the router -- there'll be trouble with two DHCP servers running.

Have you tried restarting the machine?
