European Deepstack Side Event (€550) Online sats

    There is now a satelllite up on GJP for this Thursday night at 8.30pm for the side events. It is a $40+$4 rebuy and if you win you can use it for any of the €500+€50 events.

    Just played in one of these, started at 19.50...There's another one at midnight...I think....

    good little game, only 17 runners - produced 2 tickets and 320 for third

    I managed a Lazarus-like comeback at the FT after making a brave call with TT and being punished for it.

    blinds are 1k/2k, we are 5 handed. I have 13k, BTN has 13k, BB has 15k

    I shove with AhTh. Button calls. BB types 'lol, KK' and calls with it.

    Button has AQ

    Flop is Q74 - no hearts :(

    Turn is a king :(:(

    naturally I river the jack and scoop. :D:D:D

    There's no substitute for it...

    Well done El Stuntman.
    btw Lazarus was meant to be a great player just very very unlucky thats all.
    Its not as if he got behind because he was bad as most people seem to believe. varience really went his way though with the old rising from the dead turn of events.

    poker is clearly rigged.

    early doors i play a pot with el stuntbox where he c/r and called a shove from me with 6s8s v my Qx10s on a QsJs9x board for a pretty big pot.

    I sit tight (obviously) and get it in with A8 v A3 and the pot gets split.

    Then after a raise and a rearaise i jam with KK but im no match for AQ

    Then I open shove 99 from UTG fro like 4.5 bb's and the champ makes a hero call with AQ and send me on my way.

    Donkaments suck - this tilted me so bad in the cash games afterwards.

    WD to The Champ and El Stuntbox.
