I agree, nothing but delay after delay, really sick of waiting and being told its posted etc when its not. If I'd known it was going to take a month when i originally placed the order, I would have gone for a different and cheaper xSim. I really hope it comes tomorrow. Really annoyed at this stage!!!!!

It was there this morning on 1.1.1. I only updated to 1.1.2 so they could use the nextsims they got. It just wasn't there after uploading. I did exactly the same thing on my own at Christmas and had no problem.

If you put SSH onto the phones via independence I can send you the installer.app file you can drop it into the applications folder on the phone you need to install fugu on your mac as well

The one thing it is definitely NOT is a turbosim
Unfortunately thats the downside of buying like this if you had bought a stealthsim or iphonesimfreer or similar you could at least check if it is compatible with 1.1.3 unfortunately you will probably have to suck it and see

Sums it up really, most of the newest "cheap" ones are a goldenish colour so it could be anything.

There is a good app on installer called locateme users your network to find where you are i cant get it working properly with Meteor but found myself with o2 network, about 1km out from i actually am but still cool. Add http://www.soneso.de/iphone to installer.

It doesnt seem to work on the vodafone network for me. Its telling me I'm in north america.

anybody used the sendsong app? having a problem with it. when i send a song to be a ringtone it show up in ringtones and i select it but when the iphone rings its not using the song.

Simon as much as I appreciate you taking the time and trouble to write a very informative post, I'm afraid I barely understand what you are saying and I have no idea in the world what the guy on fustimation is talking about. Is this really the only way to get connected to vodafone live:eek: If it is then I guess I'll have to try to figure it all out but to be honest it's like Chinese to me, and not even a main dialect either, some crazy one that only 8 people use:eek: Anyway thanks for the info and if anyone can write it in pigeon English I'd be forever in your debt;)

I can access most websites now via vodafone live (ironically the Apple website doesn't seem to work) and mail doesn't work and I dont think Utube and maps etc work. These would probably work using the 'isp.vodafone' apn settings but dont go there it'll cost you €20 per MB!
It's not all that fast obviously but it'll get you by if you cant find an open wifi network. There may be a situation where you want to disable those settings so you can just remove 'com' from the apn settings or something, or maybe use the 'services' app to turn edge off, but you have to re-enter the apn info when you turn it on.

LocateMe just pinpointed my location, just on the other side of the street. I'm in the city centre so that's probably why it's so accurate here.

By the way, I've used 4 NextSims now, 3 out of the four worked. One going back.

Dan, I paid for an iphone on the 16th of january and still haven't heard anything back from unlockthatiphone. No email confirmation, no answer to my emails and no answer to my phone calls the last few nights!

I've just paid 599 Euro! the least you (or whoever) could do is let me know whats going on! if there is some delay it's not a problem but i need to know if i'm getting ripped off or wtf :mad:

I know how ya fell, was in the same boat before Xmas waiting for a phone for my girlfriend from them, there not ripping you off, they just have very bad and inconsistent customer service. Was waiting what felt like forever, ordered in Nov and ended up getting a refund in Dec.

You'll probably get it eventually, but prepare to wait - they always have some excuse.

Also some new, Whoever has a phone that was unlocked via iphonesimfree(software) this withstands the 1.1.3 update once a jailbreak is released you will be able to run 1.1.3 and stay unlocked.
