Fiorsceal on TG4 is actually really good. I love documentaries and they do really interesting topics and it's not tabloidy at all.

Plus, south Park in Irish is so funny!

    SPLANC!!

I watched this show once and it felt like some sort of weird drug trip. TG4 is a cool station.

TG4 does a far better job than RTE. It manages to spend its fairly limited budget wisely on decent films, documentaries etc unlike RTE who splurge the lot of Pat F**cking Kenny. Plus the guy they got to play Cartman as gaeilge sounds 110% like the real deal!

I interrupt this thread to congratulate Pheonix Ski ('Phoenix' surely?) on being the only poster I know to shut Pighead up successfully. And a Roscommon-residing n00b to boot. Piggy must be losing his touch.

    sicín suiríoch :D

In fairness TG4 can do whatever it bloody wants before or after the watershead IMO

Those weather girls must have done more to promote the Irish language among Irish males than Pádraig Pearse ever did :p

TG4 had Undergrads as gaelige years ago, before I had any access to digital. Used to love that show...it would have been great in english but I understood enough to follow what was going on.
They also had the balls to show Oz when even Ch4 would only put it on well after midnight.
Weather is worth watching...fair enough, primarily for the girls, but also for it's innovative graphics (which far outrank RTÉ's piss poor 1980's set up), the fact that they do stuff like tides and other stats and even the time lapse weather camera. It's all innovative and a wee bit forward thinking...something RTÉ or TV3 *spit* will never be accused of...it's just a shame that Irish isn't well liked or understood by the masses.

As for south park, I don't really bother, seen them all loads of times.
As for the point on the watershed...meh, kids see a lot worse and a good bit of the stuff would go over their head IMO...
