    HI,
I am going away in the summer for a year or so just on a 1 year visa, is it possible to enter Oz with a oneway visa or will i get hassle?

I can't speak from experience but i can imagine you can since you can only book flights 10 months or so in advance. I'd say they are more interested in whether you can support yourself while there.

Well, I'm off to NZ on a year visa and have a single flight. According to my visa you either have to have a return ticket or sufficient funds in your bank account to buy a ticket home. I presume Oz is the same.

I'm going to print out a bank statement just to be sure, as you're suppose to have €2,000 in you bank account anyway. I'm sure they won't ask but you never know!

Yeah that sounds about right to me. I mean as long as you can support yourself and you're not a burdon to the Auzzies they should have no problem anyway i can't book a return flight for the lenght of time i am going for.
    Cheers:)
