Video card advice for COD4 ?

    Hi, I'm not a gamer.. yet
    But I am very intrested starting, either with in COD4 or Battlefield 2

    My main worry is that my Graphics card will not be up to the demands.
    My PC is a fairly fast 2.4 Ghz Dual core Intel, OC'ed to 3.4 Ghz and 4GB ram.
    MB is Asus P5B DLX/WIFI-AP.
    But my Graphics card is a cheap'o from Kompett...
    Gainward GeForce 8500GT 256MB DDR3, PCI-Express, DVI/Tv-Out, SilentFX

    Will this be enough for COD4 or BF2 ?
    Or should I consider a faster graphics card ?

    It'll be fine for low/medium detail.

    It really depends on what resolution you are playing at. It should play BF2 no problem at high enough resolutions . And yeah it should play CoD 4 at medium -low settings at about 1024x768 at least.

    Should play fine on the 8500GT if the resolution isn't set too high.

    You have a good PC, you should invest in a proper Graphics Card (8800GT or GTS or GTX)...
