It's hard to see beyond Anderson this year, isn't it?

anderson has been throwing incredible darts over the past year from winning the IDL, WDF, N.Ireland open, England Open, the scottish open, the Zuiderduin masters and getting to the semis in the GSOD.

webster should give him a good game if the zuiderduin masters final is anything to go by - and they wont meet till the final if they both get that far

Well if he doesn't win it this year in the form that he's been in, he never will.

Tony O' Shea 3-2 Steve Farmer

Wonder will O'Shea get a rap on the knuckles for his outburst after winning the second set to go two up. (fcuking rubbish) for those who don't read lips or were not watching.

I had a little bet on John Part to win the PDC and also tipped Gary Anderson to win the lakeside darts, but cant seem to find odds on paddypower anywhere.

He's the pretty hot favourite according to this. Still nothing on Paddy Power but this will help.

What a bad result for Anderson, his finishing was really poor, maybe just doesnt have the bottle for the BIG stage or temperment?

I heard Gary Anderson was 3/1 to win, not great but one of the favourites i would have thought to win.

He has the temperament alright. He has won the IDL The WDT as well as 5 other tournaments this year alone. If he had finished the result would have been totally different but that is darts.

Now Adams and Thornthon favourites again?

Bad result for Anderson that. I reckon if Webster can hold his nerve he could win it.

he looks good when he keeps his cool!! I've backed him to win it outright - so here's hoping !!

Thats the main thing. In the interview he said I don't want to lose my anger and then 1 idiot and its gone:)

I've also backed Stompe - he looked good today - though he had a very handy match.

I backed Stompe at 60/1 and Hankey at 40/1. I reckoned they would be two outsiders to give me a bit of a run for my money.

Its a open tourney now Anderson is out so I think you gonna make a few quid.;)

Hankey 40/1:eek: thats some odds for him..lovely thrower when he gets that fast rythm going..was working the weekend, hankeys was the 1st match i seen..if you were sitting in front row of that match with a camera, would have got some great facial expressions of both players:)

Anyone got any video clips of his entrance, think its very funny but cant find anything on U-tube

Nobody seems to be talking about Simon Whitlock. From looking at the draw his biggest rival for a final spot is Hankey. Could be worth a few quid.

Have to say the darts from the lads has been very good at times.........but the BBC coverage is an absolute joke:mad:.........1 hour of live coverage a day and then after 12 for the highlights.

Its a terrible pity as the darts & the players have been entertaining.

Normally a live stream but the interest from The Netherlands is very poor after the better players went to the PDC.

i thought fitton looked good last night...great finishing and strong scoring...if he continues like that he'll be hard to beat.

Highlights are on late alright, have sky, so get to watch them live if i want thru the famous red button.. BBC were showing hankey and west the last night live between 7-8, the game finished at 7.59..if west would have made it 2-2 in that final set bbc would have had to leave the game, that would have been a killer for anybody watching it from the start
