Rain jackets

Has anyone seen any nice rain jackets around for a bearable price? I see some of the Chinese women wearing rather adorable jackets - black or dark navy with lining and hood-insides with little red or blue people or animals inside them; but maybe they're getting them from China. Also not sure they're rainproof.

There is a shop in Temple Bar,at the Christ Church End that sells raincoats,dont know what prices though.
