Hats off to you Caf, little piece of magic you've created there. Never heard or seen anything that summed what it was like to be part of the scene back then.

Quick question, What remix of Ezee Posses "Everything starts with an E" is that being played. I have about 4 versions and none compare to that, absolute magic!

Thanks Turks but defo not it. Was a white lable on More Protein released late 94 which I think might be it but not positive. The tune is over 8 minutes long.

That's the one alright, pitch seems a little high but I've been trying to get it for a long time. Yeah, they don't make clubs like that any more and that video just sums the whole thing up in 10 short minutes.

Very few clubs had that buzz and loyal following, early Olympic, So in Dublin, Can't Stop in Waterford, Henry's in Cork and Strictly Rhythm in Limerick got close and later the Temple of Sound had it for a while.

I'd love to beam myself back for one more year of it around the early to mid 90's, although I can count my lucky stars I made it through the first time, there's a few I know that sadly didn't.

Everything begins with an e - Kinky Transformer Mix

Label MP distributed on virgin records not sure of release date as it doesn't say it on the vinyl.

And yes that is everything begins with an e for some strange reason!!! :)

The mix of 'Everything Starts With an E' I used in the SIDES DC Video is a - Tall Paul Mix - Promo / White Label. It's the same mix that was posted above, MW has the same version on vinyl and he reckons it was from 96. (If you have the Ormond Multimedia / Bombscare Video youll hear Mick play it, and that was 17 August 1996) When No DJ could get his / her hands on a copy, Paul Okenfold asked Boy George why he hadnt even got a copy, BG Replied "Ask Your Girlfriend". - (Legend has it that someone at Virgin Music was blocking the re-release cuz of some personal 'bitchin' in-house..... this person just happened to be Paul Okenfolds girlfriend). The tune was later released by More Protien (Boy George's Own Label) and distributed by Virgin. -

PS - Some versions have the track name on the cover as -Everything BEGINS With an E. / The Sample Vocal 'Everything Starts With an E' comes from a Ronald Mc'Donalds kids alphabet learning record from the 60's.

PPS - There's more videos in the works. ;)

Had a feeling it was a white label. As far as I can remember Boy George included it in his Essential mix back in 96.

He played with Pete Tong and Paul Bleasdale but for some reason his part of the gig is very hard to come by.

Looking forward to the new vids!
