    I had a look around this morning and didn't see anything discounted for new years day. :(

    Got a lovely 19" Philips HD LCD TV yesterday for €350 - i think the same one in Curry was at least €449.00 Got their extra 4 year warranty as well for €38 which seemed like a good deal.

    I was in the Harvey Norman store on Kinsale Road, Cork and they had loads of discounted stuff. Great deals on kitchen stuff especially. Didn't really look too much at the TVs.

    Oh theres some stuff discounted alright was in both a few days ago, but nothing NEW discounted especially for NEW YEARS DAY.
