The 750GB for 149 is good. I'm not sure how necessary firewire 800 is for home use. I know it would be handy for work as we may have to move 4-500GB at any one time..then send it somewhere so they can pull the data off.

Pixmania has the Maxtor One Touch for 139.

Quite a bargain considering a 500gb Seagate was priced around 120 just a few months ago.

Would this have a UK/Ireland 3 pin plug, or a continental 2 pin plug? Also postage of EUR13 brings it up to EUR153.....

Hmmm, I don't know about Maxtors. They had a very bad reputation for a few years with hard disk problems. I experienced a brand new one failing after two months myself.

Maybe they have improved though.
