Panasonic TH-37PV70 Resolutions?

    I've got the TV above and I am just wondering if anyone could tell me what resolution I should set my DVD player and consoles to?

    I have:

    Samsung DVD HD870 DVD player (connected by HDMI to TV and Digital Coaxial to Home Cinema System)

    Wii (connected by Component to TV via Home Cinema System)

    XBox 360 (connected by Component to TV via Home Cinema System and Digital Optical to Home Cinema System)


    I also have:

    Sony HT-DDW890 Home Cinema System

    NTL Digital (connected by Scart to TV and Digital Optical to Home Cinema System)

    but I'm not sure if they are relevant to this query.


    So...

    1) Should I set the DVD player to 720p or to 1080i?

    2) The same question for the XBox 360?

    3) And I think my options with the Wii are 480p or 576i. Which one should I use?

    720p on the dvd and xbox.

    wii, 576i i'd say. that what i have it set to and i have the 42" version of your telly.

    I use the same tv and dvd player.

    any idea which hdmi format is best -

    RGB-Normal
    RGB-Expand
    YCbCr-4:4:4
    YCbCr-4:2:2
