Can the Elite do regular tv output also?

I'm thinking of getting one of these but am not sure if this can do regular scart or composite output to an non HD tv. Is it possible to output to a standard telly with an Xbox Elite?

Yes, it has a HDMI connection and a normal one with the Component/Composite lead with the HDTV switch.

Thanks guys, what's the quality like though the composite?

If (hypothetically) my American cousin sent me a family video in hr hdtv format would I be able to watch it on my regular 32" Sony tv?

If it's on hd dvd then you need the hd dvd player add on.
