my monitor wont play ps2/ps1 games.

aargh this is frustrating the only resolution my monitor supports is 720p and it seems ps1 and 2 games scale to some other resolution as it just won work,everytime i start a game i gen an out of range error ive tried changing the scaling to full and normal yet neither work so what res do they actually get scaled to?

i tried my crt monitor i have lying about which does do it,everything is vga going through a vga box

Have you tried going into display settings and making sure that you only have 720p selected from the available resolutions?

yep and pal is selected greyed out so i couldnt change it
