has anyone here heard of gilson motors? their website says they are based in dublin 4 but no address. anyone know where it is?

project kahn? or maybe something to do with the k-club? no idea.

Could be wrong but I think Carlsson use a K to differentiate their cars from standard fare.

Drove past what looked like a CL55 today, but there was nothing but a "K" on the back. Its was written italic. No photo, cause I simply was driving up beside it when I saw it. Any ideas what it is?

as eljono said - its a Kleeman tuned model. They're an aftermarket tuning firm, kinda like Brabus. Pretty rare over here, but i've seen a white Mk1 SLK, badged "K 2" or something like that.

i would imagine that johnny ronan let him stick the plate frames on it. johnny is a good mate of glenda gilson and her brother runs gilson motors. and he sells cars based from his home?? he wont last long in this business if thats true.

Took a trip to Vegas earlier this month. I don't drive a cheap car, so it's not often that I feel at the bottom of the pole. I probably should have photographed the two Rollers and the Maybach.

The last one is actually in California.

After looking over the last few pages, I'm depressed. People should not have that much money.

    Unless I do as well.

It was worth cheating. They are lovely cars and I dont think you will see 3 together outside of a showroom.

Where are these been shipped to and from?? are you at sea for many weeks at a time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,707 ✭✭✭bennyx_o

I don't work on the ships themselves, company I work for unload them. They were being shipped from Germany to Japan. Not sure how the crew work it, but it takes them 25 days to get from here back to Japan.
