I want to buy an Ipod and I;ve heard its possible to order them from Thailand for half the price!

Any website selling iPods at half price is probably a scam site. I don't think you'll get a genuine iPod much cheaper than what you'd pay for it in Ireland. They'll be cheaper from US based sites, but these might not ship to Ireland and even if they do you could have to pay hefty customs and tax. Might be worth checking on eBay anyway.
