Hi all, my future mother in law is looking to get broad band in the house without having to use her telephone wires (sick of paying line rental, only uses her mobile etc) is there any advice for her? I'm clueless about all this.

NTL give you broadband through their TV cable.
might be worth a look at?

There are the wireless providers, In fact the guy who started ICE is from Palmerstown :D Terrible service though if you read about it on boards.
I do not think NTL is available there... well not in 05 when i moved from Palmerstown.
