During the Middle Ages, probably one of the biggest mistakes was not putting on your armor because you were "just going down to the corner."

If the Vikings were around today, they would probably be amazed at how much glow-in-the-dark stuff we have, and how we take so much of it for granted.

It's funny that pirates were always going around searching for treasure, and they never realized that the real treasure was the fond memories they were creating.

Over the course of time (since the beginning of man) why didn't people who live in places such as Somalia and Sub Saharan Africa with a climate which contributes to the hardship they endure not just move towards the more temperate climates? I know recent studies show we all originate from Africa but why stay behind.
