This was a trick Question: you shouldnt have credit cards. they're evil.

Well, probably more evil in the USA - they fling those pre-approved bastards through your mailbox faster than you can max them out. and they wonder how to fix the american poverty line..

The answer is to just max out all your cards and then paddle your canoe to Panama!

There was an interesting use for cards brought up in The Ladies Lounge on a thread about 'Brazilians' as far as I remember. However I'm about to run off to my Christmas Party so ye'll have to look for it yeerselves :D

Everything, pretty much. Current card is 6 months old and already worn and unreadable (I've had to remember the CCV2 number, can't be read). Paid in full every month except one since I've had one and I cleared about 80% of the balance that month, so never paid the bank more than a few euros interest.

eBay, I only have a $500 limit on the card though and I have disabled the automatic limit increase thingy when I got the card at first.
Why wouldnt you want the limit increased.$500 is really nothing.I thought you purchase alot on the net?

I don't want anyone increasing the limit without my knowledge thank you very much. :) I do spend a lot but normally funds are just drawn from the bank account through Paypal when I need something otherwise onto the plastic they go.

eBay, play.com, flights and occasionally Tesco's! It's a handy wee thing once you don't go crazy.
