Hello! Just wondering if anyone has been to this resort in France before? If so, what is the snow coverage like? What is the village like? And what is eating out like? I'm planning on heading there in early January so any information would be helpful!

for the moment, no slopes are open at all, but they are expecting heavy snow from this weekened onwards. keep an eye out here: http://www.laclusaz.com/index.jsp?c=10280

I've never been to la clusaz per se but many others around there, so i'm sure the food will be delicious, if you like traditional french mountain fare (fondues, raclette, tartiflette, etc...) as for nightlife can't say really
