lol at Argos D40 blunder...

    Wandered into Argos today - seems like they're having their Christmas sales now... one that caught my eye is their Nikon D40 bundle: D40 kit, bag and 2gb card. Not too shabby a bundle...but the card is a Sandisk Ultra II CF card... there's going to be an awful lot of people confused by this (or worse trying to insert a CF card into a SD slot).

    Pretty awful blunder if you ask me! (Then again it could be a listing mistake and they actually do give you a SD card).

    I'll write off to Argos and tell them about it - don't want any disappointed children not being able to shoot photos with their new dSLR (yes Santa has become very affluent these last few years ;))

    shur if ya cut a bit off the east end of it and a schmall wee bit off the wesht end of it, twill fit in with only a small bit of bother.

    Maybe one of the disgruntled Argos striker's did it to teach all those catalog shopping scum a lesson they'll never forget?

    I wouldn't put it down to a pissed off staff member, instead I'd say its down to a clueless person in charge of stock :)
