A few pints with anyone

If you could spend an evening in your local having a few pints & a chat with anyone from history who would you pick? And why?

Would it be Adolph Hitler? Just to ask "Why"?

Would it be someone less famous? Maybe a relative who has passed away?

It can be anyone you like.

For me, it would probably be someone like Peter Ustinov, a great actor with loads of interesting anecdotes about the entertainment industry. But that's just off the top of my head, I might pick someone else later.

    Over to you....

    *taps foot*

    ....

Hmmm. Still no "yore ma!"? We're slipping, people.

Jesus. Reasoning: to get the thoughts direct (Albeit, with a bit of drink...mmm) + failing that, twice the pints \o/

No, he existed, there is historical records.
It's whether or not he was able to raise the dead is whats at issue:)

Michael Collins - for the politics discussion
Oscar Wilde - for the wit and cheeky comments
Marie Curie - only person to win two Nobel Prizes in different science fields

It'd have to be a decent group of people....maybe 4 or 5 heads.

    I'd go for...

Zapp Brannigan (to charm the ladies)
Gordon Ramsey (for the grub afterwards)
Bill Hicks (for the comic insightfulness)
Bill Gates (so you wouldn''t have to put your hand in your pocket)
and then both Roy Keane & Mick McCarthy (just to watch the sparks fly).

If i was limited to one, it's have to be Hicks.

Assuming my suggestion a few posts above will prove impossible, I guess maybe Brian O'Driscoll, George Best, Keith Richards or Ozzy Osbourne.

Hitler didn't drink, but that aside, I'd ask why...

    1. Why he didn't keep going to the coast, and let the Brits escape from Dunkirk ??

    2. Why he didn't completely take out the Radar stations during the early stages of the Battle of Britain ??

    3. Why he didn't approve full development Jet Engines earlier in the war, as the technology existed ??

    4. Why he didn't allow the Ukraine some Independence when there were 2 divions of vollunteers from the Ukraine serving in the Waffen SS, who were willing to fight Stalin ??

    5. Why he didn't let his troops break out of Stalingrad, because they could have done so, and lived to fight another day ??

    6. Why didn't he suspect the Allies had broken the Enigma Code ??

    7. Was the Dublin North Strand Bombing in 1941 Deliberate, or an Accident.

    and finally

    8. What the f*uck did he think he was doing, making his underage niece poo all over his head ????

    just out of curiousity...........
