CYMA 030 (G18c AEP) spring upgrade

    I read on a few different sites that theres an upgrade spring for this called a nineball spring or something but i havent a clue where to get one, anyone know anything about them? and where to get one,. I want to increase the fps of this a little and im not too bothered by loosing a little of the ROF, Also anyone know if there are there better batterys available for it? its got a 500ma as it is.,

    Yea, Nineball make them, I have one at home which I bought off a guy on arnie's unused, but i haven't gotten around to installing it yet, I haven't used my g18 in quite a while, I was going to do some other mods to it but haven't really had a chance as of yet, maybe over christmas...

    cheers, I just ordered one now, waiting to get postage price from them,
    I always liked these pistols, I prefer not having to gas up all the time. I was testing the baby hi capa yesterday and i barely get 1 mag out of a fill of gas with the temperatures outside nowadays, the M9 is the same,.I want to try get a spare slide for this aswell, Im kinda going off the silver look now.,lol

    the only problem i have with the aep is the relatively low fps, my g18 fires about 240 i think? whereas my beretta gbb is 315fps, p99 is about 320 and g19 is about 310 i think, in the winter the gbb's arent doing so well in terms of the number of rounds per mag, but they still fire at a semi-decent fps

    the upgraded spring for the g18 will give a few more fps, but you still wouldn't be firing over 300, from what i remember, it's about a 10% increase, so about 260 is the most you'll get really

    yeah i read 260ish was the highest it could get to with various upgrade parts, I do like the full auto on them though, do you know if the 500ma battery is the best available for it? if it is im just gonna make a new battery and mount it on the front rail and make it looks like a flash light or something.,

    from what i know, yea it is the best battery you can get, going to try running an external battery myself too :)

    You can get 300fps out of them around max.

    PDI 0.1 inner barrel will give you a 10fps increase approx, as will the spring. Running an extended .01 barrel can give massive FPS increases of around 30fps in some cases.

    really? ive read a good bit of info about them online but nobody was quoring anything like 300, we defo talking about the same pistol?

    You can get the G18 AEP's up to around 260 at the very max. Still, if you can hide the barrel under a silencer e.t.c you will gain a massive fps increase.

    i was thinking of fitting one of those rails to it so the suppressor might be an option, do you know if the MP7 barrell fits these?

    yea i know, i got an mp5 hopup unit off them a few weeks ago, cost about that for shipping and $15 or something for the unit, been looking for one for a while, so i decided feck it, ill pay the p&p, thing is still sitting in my drawer, haven't used it yet :)
